Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Legacy

Advocacy

As we prepare to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we pause to reflect on Dr. King’s enduring legacy of service, justice, and collective responsibility. MLK Day is not only a moment of remembrance, it is also a call to action that challenges us to advance equity, uplift our communities, and remain unwavering in our commitment to educational excellence for Black students.Dr. King reminded us that “everybody can be great because everybody can serve.” At CABSE, this truth continues to guide our work as we build systems that affirm Black brilliance, empower educators, and ensure students have access to opportunity, dignity, and high-quality education. On this day of reflection and service, we will recommit ourselves to transforming equity from intention into impact..
